“Look for a lovely thing and you will find it.”

{Some lovely things as well as a peek at what’s to come!}
I am no expert and I don’t claim to be. But, like many of you, I am so thrilled when I find something very special, something very lovely. It could be a beautiful photograph, a gorgeous cupcake, a far away place, a schnazzy new pair of shoes, an undiscovered little shop or maybe even a crisp piece of new stationary just waiting to be written upon.
Lovely things…we all come across them in our everyday lives whether aware of it or not. Sometimes we seek out with great determination very special things and sometimes are minds are so occupied and our steps are so hurried that we rush right past them without a thought. And sometimes, and even better yet, when we keep our eyes wide open with wonder we just happen upon them…little lovely gifts that are just set out before us.
And that is what this blog is all about. Perhaps it may serves as a recommedation or suggestion for a purchase and it definitely will be a way to for me to keep a library of things that I find lovely and am keen to return to again and again. But I hope most that it will serve as an inspiration of sorts.
Cheers!
Trina
P.S. I have to say that over the past month or so I have truly enjoyed reading and viewing so many blogs (many listed on the right). It has been an inspiration in starting la la lovely.
My most favorite blog would have to be Absolutely Beautiful Things. If you take a peek, I’m quite sure you’ll be back for a daily visit. Checking the post of the day happens to be one of my favorite morning rituals. Blog author Anna Spiro is an interior designer from Brisbane, Australia. Her style is bright, unique and so so lovely! The images she shares are gorgeous, inspiring and just calming. You’ll see exactly what I mean and I know you will find her style and the site to be ever so lovely!
