{BEFORE}

Isn’t this so much prettier? So much lighter and more colorful..perfect for spring time! The spray painting was killer, I never want to do it again. (Seriously the pads of my index fingers were tingling for a couple of weeks from the spraying. After the first day of working on these my dear husband informed me of a little tool that goes over the sprayer and you are able to use all fingers to spray.) However, there is a little matching bench and side table so I have my work cut out for me. The cushions were only $5 from IKEA. They are a little small but something so fun and pretty for $5 who cares!

Wow. Isn’t that a huge difference. I love the cushions from IKEA but hey, I lvoe anything from IKEA. Me and IKEA Have a love thing going on…
Is that your front yard or your back, I would love to see a picture of your house. It look so lush and green :)
As to your earlier question: Cruskits are a whole meal snack. Kind of like Jatz, do you have jatz? I like ot eat them with butter and vegemite but the possibilties are endless.

Aren’t you so clever! I wish I had the patience to do such handiwork. I bet you look at it now and say it was worth it though!. I will post pictures of other kitchen bench tops I have been drooling over. I have an appointment with my 2nd kitchen place tomorrow. I am going to see if they can incorporate a walk in job for the pantry. Champagne tastes on a cordial budget! We’ll see???!!! A-M xx

Can’t believe that it is the same outdoor setting, I spray painted branches once and that was bad enough. I take my hat off to you. Well done, hope you enjoy every outdoor moment.

As I was reading you talking about the pain from holding down the little spray button, I was thinking, oh dear I need to send her one of our little spray paint can tools. So glad to hear your husband informed you:) A little late, but better late than never right!
I love the white, it instantly cheers you up:) And, I have been looking for new seat cushions for my outdoor seats, now Im headed over to Ikea!

Dani – that is actually the side of my house. Kind of a little courtyard off the kitchen. We are having some work done on our home. We had some damage after a hail storm and need some new landscaping in the front after our a pipe broke…so long story short, once we get things mended I’ll post some more pics.
And as for the green I would attribute that to all of the rain we get (a little more than needed)! Oh and of course the mister’s landscaping skills – must mention that!

Melissa- you are sweet. I’m def going to consult you before I start my next paint/refinishing project, for any insider pointers on tools and techniques!
I hope you like the cushions as much as I do. I don’t know how they will hold up but as I said for $5 who cares! And the colors are really fun and cheerful!
