These gorgeous paintings are by British Painter Claerwen James.  James specializes in portraiture based on photographs.  Most of her work is of young people.  I have to say I was awed by these paintings.  They are so striking and mesmerizing.  What I wouldn’t do to have one made of my two children.   Claerwen James also has a book of her images that can be purchased on amazon (UK site).  You can also view more of her work at flowerseast.com and clivejames.com.  I hope you enjoy these beautiful portraits as much as I did.

On Friday’s I like to post something to think on….Here is something I read this morning that led me to these lovely portraits:
