I have a confession..one of my favorite things to buy or maybe I should say waste money on is makeup and skincare products. I have my mom to thank for this. While others would prefer to buy clothes and more economic beauty products I seem to forgo the clothes time and time again for some type of facial potion that surely will be some sort of magic formula to erase time or make my face look like a super model. These type of results don’t ever seem to flourish but it is fun trying! And if you have ever seen my mom then you would know these products must be working, somehow…she is beautiful!
This is my new favorite. The Skin Energy Hydration Delivery System by Amore Pacific. It is something my mom and I just stumbled upon. I was looking for that dewy makeup look and the person behind the counter suggested this. It is somewhat like a mineral water spray (Evian), etc. but 1,000 times better. This potion is water-free and is actually made from Bamboo sap which is known as “divine water.” You can mist your entire face after cleansing it or apply over your makeup for a fresh dewy look. And the best part is it smells gorgeous.
I had never heard of Amore Pacific and I have to say their products are quite pricey but this one isn’t too bad. And a good investment, if you ask me that is :-)

I have never heard about such products as well. But I can’t live without various lipsticks, ’cause my lips are tooooo dry.

Girls, you would love this product.. it is really refreshing and gives a nice glow.. guess I’ve already said that though :-)
Angel- lipgloss is a weakness of mine too..I’m always trying to find the perfect color and I don’t know if I have yet.

I rsrely splurge on clothes, but I love a little splurge on skin products. My favorites: Murad moisturizers, and La Mer (for the night). Both are amazing!

You are my kind of girl, Things that Inspire. Ok, that is really funny because I just got the La Mer as well, for the first time. It seems a little heavy? But maybe it is just the humid weather or something. And I have been wondering about Murad. How do they compare?

La Mer is a thick, rich moisurizer, so I just use it at night. You get a small amount out with the scoop, rub it between your palms (they say this activates the ingredients), and pat it on your face. They also make a lightweight version, which I have a sample of, for the daytime. I like Murad skin perfecting lotion for the day, though. It has sunscreen, and it is a good weight. Nothing compares to La Mer at night, though!

They’ve changed my life. Ok maybe I overstated that, but they are amazing products indeed.

I really like Eminence Organic Products too along with Lorna’s Naturals – which I found in the Catskills of NY.
Smells wonderful and my skin loves it and it is very reasonable and all natural.
