me climbing the staircase in Laduree at the Champs Elysees

Here is your sneak peak into the bathroom at Laduree…. HA!
Today I am wishing I was here! It is utter craziness at my house. Seriously, there are 8 cars at my house that do not belong to me. Painters, construction, appliance repair, and cleaning people. I am very happy that all of this is getting done but I’m dreaming of quieter days.
Anyways, I thought having a nice cup of tea and some gorgeous macaroons at Laduree sounded like a good idea! I had the chance to visit Laduree last fall. And I have to admit I didn’t even know what it was. All I know is that I fell head over heels when I walked inside. When I returned I found out how famous Laduree is. Thankfully, I brought some very pretty boxes home with me and I’ve been dreaming about going back ever since. And today seems like it would be a perfect day (well at least I can dream about it). So let’s all meet for tea & macaroons this afternoon!
Funny thing is, I was picking out this top image and then headed over to Absolutely Beautiful Things , for my daily fix, and Anna had posted this exact picture with some lovely decorated rooms that resemble Laduree. I guess it must just truly be a Laduree day!
PS- for some gorgeous Laduree eye candy visit Paris Breakfasts. Carol Gillott paints the most beautiful pictures of Laduree.

When I went to Paris… I didn’t know anything about Laudree… I wish I did! :(
I would love to sit and have tea, eat those yummies and chat!
Next time… I will go there… add that to new years resolution!

Sign me up for the tea party! Those macaroons look too beautiful to eat, but I could be persuaded.

I was in Paris a few weeks ago, but tasted my first Laduree macaroon in London. I am addicted to the salted caramel flavor….
