love the mix and they each evoke a feeling of me wanting to be there, to be reading a great book, feet up and perhaps sharing a hot cup of tea with you and some lemon bread. Glad the box of goodies arrived!

That desk is my fav too…

this one from a little shop in France—and of course if you go on eBay there are lots of antique ones too!
This is such a lovely round up of images–I really liked Belle Maison’s frames post this week as well. Isn’t that room with the wire bertoia chairs such a great mix of calm white and vibrant colour!

Bonjour gensoeur(or gen soeur) how is your being today? I do miss you so! How is the white house office decorating moving along? Did you hang up that bird picture yet? Beautiful round up of inspiring interiors – I love the dining room scene best (I have a basket lampshade on our veranda – fisrt time I’ve sceen one like this in an indoor décor..!)…
