My Travels

I came back with some treasures . . .  Beautiful old handkerchiefs that belonged to my husbands grandma (along with 2 chairs & a desk, more on that later) and this door.  I stopped in Ballards Backroom and they were selling these 1940’s vintage doors for $29.  How could you pass that up?
And look at all of the pretty that has come out of it so far . .

Kinda blurry but kinda cute
My little goof ball!
My sisters in – law
All the kids and their kids . . . What a great family I married into!
Thought you all might enjoy some pictures from my week in ATL…..
Check back for some shots of some really cute Children’s rooms that I snapped while there!

That is SUCH an awesome find! My father build a screen door for me to use as a set piece in a play that I directed. After the play was over, the University’s scene shop took it to their storage unit before I could get it, and I never saw it again! It was such a cool old door too!
