It’s sunny here today (and about 10 below zero, mind you, but the sun is shining) and I’m lucky to enjoy a relaxing day today (which is why I have chosen this picture, isn’t it gorgeous?). My hubby is going to watch the kids and I’m going to one of my favorite stores , The Painted Lady, with a dear friend!
PS- I am loving that simple window treatment and am hoping to get a little one like that for my kitchen.

Hello
You’ve given me tips for so many lovely things since I”ve been following your Blog. I just wanted to return the favour and mention that the Australian design magazine Inside Out has a lovely feature on Shannon Fricke (Aussie stylist and author) I think you would really enjoy! Here is a link to her Blog so you can have a sneak preview. xx

Hi, Trina!
I just got back from San Francisco and thought of your blog when I visited a little tea parlor called Crown and Crumpet (www.crownandcrumpet.com)in Ghirardelli Square. If your ever there, you should definitely go – adorable shop covered in Cath Kidston and all things British- and tea-related. The owner was a doll and said they will be on the next cover of Romantic Homes.
I’ll post about it at some point, but just thought I’d share!
Sara
P.S. Want that bathroom!

Sounds like a great day!!! I saw your earlier post about The Pinted Lady and that looks like a wonderful store!!! I live in Sweden, but if I every get to your city…
The funny thing about the shop is that the address apparently is 2128 N. Damen? the word “damen” in Swedish translates to “the lady” in English – that is such a hilarious coincidence!!!
Take care!
Cecilia
