Favorites

Don’t you just love to know what peoples favs are?  I know I do.  It’s no secret that I do love Nigella.  I know some serious foodies might not find her to be so very “chefy” but that is what I love about her.  I love that she is woman who loves to cook and enjoys the food she cooks (I have no problem with her licking her fingers and then continuing to cook, I mean if we are all honest we do that, right?).  And of course I find her home (or set, more likely) amazing, her accent lovely, her vocabulary and use of words poetic and her food yummy scrummy, indeed.

Ok, well enough already, I have other posts doting on my love for all things Nigella.  Anyhow, she has a pretty great, recently renovated, website and on there a Nigella Loves list.  I always love to see what others are raving about.  I mean, I think that is how I ended up with this little blog.  Wanting to share things that I find a long the way and discover what all of you have found.
Also, I thought I’d leave you with a few more shots of her lovely place.  Do excuse the quality as I have sneakily snapped these off of youtube.com

I rarely watch tv, but I love to watch her show; raely though, I think there is a book by her, right?

I love Nigella too, Trina! Thanks for sharing the website. I want her Channel lipstick, her handcream, her pink office studio as well! I am building an office/shed at the moment and I’m going to use Nigella’s inspiration for it.
Hope you are feeling better and I love your profile photo Trina! xx

I love Nigella too. I like the way she cooks and she doesn’t seem to care about being “chefy.” Which makes her a little less pretentious in my book. I have some of her bowls and measuring cups – I think he aesthetic is simple yet feminine.

I couldn’t agree more. I just love listening to her talk about what she’s cooking and how it smells, tastes, etc. She has such a way with words. What’s crazy is even if I don’t think I’d like what she is cooking, if she talks about it, I usually find myself craving it! The woman is a genius :-)

I bought her book “How to Eat” back in 2000 and it changed the way I cooked and approached cooking forever. I actually began to enjoy it! Thanks for pointing out the website, I’m sure it will be a new favourite.

I like her too and Katie Lee Joel too. I just love their style and taste, and of course the food they prepare. Nigella’s pink couch is adorable.

Thanks for sharing her website…I’m heading there.

I love Nigella and her cook books. I used her recipe for Coke-a-Cola ham for Easter Dinner. My latest rave has to be tiny pastle tin-foiled wrapped Dove Easter Eggs that taste like buttery bits of raspberry flavored milk chocolate that softly melt in your mouth on a warm summer day.
