These are some fairy cakes (maybe I should just call this fairy week?). A.K.A cupcakes that I made for a pirate and fairy party last summer. The boys dressed up as pirates and the girls as fairies of course. We had a treasure hunt, sword fights and lots of fun. I’m pretty sure I’m going to have another pirate and fairy party this year!

What a wonderful idea. Sounds like it will be perfect for my boy/girl twins when they get a bit older. And here I thought it would be hard coming up with themes that would work for both of them. I guess you could change it up too: dragons and princesses; dinosaurs and kittys; cowboys and… um, cowgirls? : )
my favorite and my best

Aren’t cupcakes fabulous things. I have a friend in Paris that makes giant batches and covers them with coloured icing. Love them. Carla x

Love the fairy lights in your former post! I also saw you like Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre. Did you see the BBC serie with Colin Firth? I bought it and once in a while I am going to sit for it. Also the movie of Jane Eyre with Timothy Dalton is in my bookcase. Love it! Have a nice day!

These cupcakes are so cute. I am having a Princess birthday Party for my little girl this month. So adding some pirate stuff too it would be a good idea for the boys! Where did you get the pirate cupcake toppers? Daisy~

I was making cupcakes this afternoon for a little one’s party tomorrow and thought of yours. Yours are so delicate and elegant. I shall draw a graceful veil over mine in comparison (fairy sprinkles have a mind of their own don’t they?).
Hope you have a lovely weekend with your family.

These are so beautiful and creative. I love the fact that the party theme appeals to girls and boys, it’s always hard to entertain both!
