If I Were an Artist

If I were an artist… this would look a lot better than it does.  Last week my sister (the artist) stayed with us and we all did some painting.  I have been wanting to paint some meaningful words.  And well it didn’t quite turn out the way I had envisioned but I’m quite happy that I just tried and attempted to use a paintbrush.  Perhaps, I’ll paint over and try something else.  Or maybe I’ll just leave it for awhile and think about it.  Who knows.
I do know... that I love the close up the word Love above.  This weekend remember to :
Love Yourself… you are a special and unique individual with a purpose.  If you don’t love yourself, how you can love others?
Love Your Life…Even if life is complicated and hard…it is still life and everyday is a new day, a fresh start & a gift.
Love Others…Everyone is hurting in one way or another and your smile or kind words just might be the thing to make a huge difference in someones life.  And what you do for others….well, it will be done for you!

I think you did really well, and some would argue you are already an artist since you created a piece of art and all. A lovely message to send me off into my weekend. Thank you.

I wouldn’t change it. I would keep it as is and every time I look at it remember that special time with my sis. Besides it’s beautiful.

    Trina,

I just love it. It is an original. I think you should hang it somewhere VERY special!
Also, know that i am so glad to FINALLY have found someone who wants to paint their front door a different color every year. My family thinks i am nuts! I want to go bright green like the door on the Blueprint Magazine cover.
Maybe the pink house at Annechovie is just the motivation that I need.
I love visiting your blog, let us all know if you get the paintbrush out again!

    Thank you!

Just so everyone knows, the words are a mixture of coldplay lyrics, bible verses and a Bronte poem. :-) Quite the combo, right?!
