Tea and chocolate. I like them together the most, but am just as happy to have them on their own. I think there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t have a cup of tea and a piece of chocolate. Really, it is like my own little bit of comfort and delight a daily dose of medicine. I take all kinds of tea… green, black, vanilla, with milk (the proper English way, of course) or without. And as for my dear chocolate, I have one requirement, that it is good chocolate. I do prefer dark chocolate as a little goes a long way and there is just so much more to it.
I’m always on the lookout for new teas and chocolates and so I thought you too, might like to try these pretties. These are two of my new favs:
B.T. McElrath’s Salty Dog Chocolate Bar (chocolate and salt, could there be any better combination?).
Teavana : a mix of Jasmine Dragon Pearls and Rooibos Tropica. I have the coolest little contraption and it brews the perfect loose tea. This tea has such a nice sweet taste that I can drink it totally plain. But if you must add something a little honey does the trick.

I drink mostly green tea, and every day= four cups of green tea a day prevents heart disease, cancer of numerous kinds, and mental decline.
Dark chocolate is SO good for you, in small daily amounts. It’s packed with antioxidants. So drink up, I say!

I’m totally with you on the chocolate front…but tea is a complicated issue for me. I don’t like the taste :o) Being from England this has really held me back in life…I’m a tea outcast!

a girl after my own heart.
chocolate + salt= love.
have you tried the vosges barcelona bar? it is milk (although they call it a dark/milk bc of the higher percentage of coca solids) chocolate with hickory smoked almonds and french sea salt. paired with earl grey it is easily the yummiest thing in the world.

I also eat a piece of chocolate every day. I think if I had to go without I’d suffer serious withdrawals. I drink green tea almost daily but also love a tasty cup of chai (with soy milk) mmmm

Just about every day in college I ate a piece of a Santander 70% Cocoa Bar (an amazing dark chocolate from Columbia) and a cup of tea.

I have the same little contraption! And I just discovered the Roobios/ Dragon Pearl combo too. I’m completely in love with it, although I do still add milk… Now I’m going to have to hunt down that chocolate bar!

Well, I obviously wouldn’t know for sure but Yorkshire Gold is supposed to be one of the best. I come from Yorkshire and used to serve it to customers in a tea room (alongside about 40 other varieties of tea) quite ironic given I don’t even drink it myself.
Lady Grey and Earl Grey were also popular choices!

Teavana is one of my most favorite stores in the world! Really, I could spend hours in there. The Mandarin Green tea and Sweet Fruit Garden are also worth trying.
