A Little Laduree Love

This morning,  I awoke to a text from my brother who told me he was having lunch at Laduree and was wondering what to order.  As I was cleaning up dog poop (lets keep it real) I sighed and dreamed of that far away magical and colorful place I once visited.  Although, my day will likely be made up of McDonald’s rather than Laduree it was fun to think about that is for sure.  And look I’ve added a little color to my day which is always cheery.

Obviously, I am the only person on earth who has never eaten a macaron. I need to.

He said he had the Club Laduree with "French" fries. And I did tell him to try the macarons but I also mentioned that he can't leave Paris without a chocolat croissant. So he went to Paul (http://www.paul.fr/index.php) for the chocolat croissant. Now I'm off for some "french" fries myself. :)

Vicki, I'll have to remember that the caramel is the best for my next visit.

I know what you mean. I just saw my girlfriend this weekend who was telling me about this great trip she has planned to Russia and Norway. All I have planned as of right now is a trip to Trader Joe's, sigh.

love love love french macaroons! i can never get enough of those things. Sucre in New Orleans makes pretty good ones and Laduree is definitely heaven.
