A Window of Wonder

I happen to like this picture.  It is the window in my daughters bedroom.  Which, coincidentally, used to be my (and my sisters) bedroom.  I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned but the house I  live in is the home I grew up in.  As you can imagine, in some ways it is very charming and yet sometimes a bit strange.  But overall, I find it to be extremely comforting and just right, at least for this season of life.
When this particular room was my room, the windows had criss-cross wood frames on them (a thing of the times).  They have been gone now for almost as long as I can remember.  The other day the kids were having a shower and the bedroom got a little steamy.  El called out to me to look at the magic on the windows.  And there were my old windows right there looking back at me.  I thought it magic too.

What a lovely thought … the magic on the windows. Don't kids remind us of the wonder of things? That photo is so beautiful it almost looks like a painting …

    Very dreamy!
And how fun that your daughter has the same view as you did as a little girl… charming.

I have a challenge on SweeterLiving that I think you would enjoy. Maybe you could drop by and take a look?

    Have a great evening!

That sounds so lovely to live in the same house that you did as a child. My parents move house virtually every few months it seems and so that would never have worked for us. They are almost like snails!
Congratulations on the new coming baby! Life has been so frantic I haven't been here for a few weeks and I see I missed some big news. I have posted here as Primrose in the past. Hope you are keeping well. xx
