What can make a girl happy?  Shoes, chocolate, an encouraging word.  Today turned out, well, not how I had planned.  Nothing really to be upset about, but darn those hormones than can really mess a girl up.  

So I just baked some really yummy  {Double chocolate brownies} (I make it triple by mixing in some choc. chips in the batter), for a friend (of course I’ll be sneaking a bite but the smell alone is a real mood lifter).  

If I had a lot of time and money to waste I’d probably go look for some new shoes.  {Ruby and Bloom} have some really cute ones.  I bought these months ago and have been meaning to share them.  They are actually a little more nude colored than blush pink but still super cute.  And nothing better than an encouraging word.  And that I will share with you tomorrow.  Here is to a new start tomorrow!
