Today,

I’m feeling a little like this….

Needing some of this….

Wouldn’t it be great if Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts delivered? Wishing it was warm out and I lived in a city or somewhere where I could put the baby in a stroller and walk to a super cute coffee shop. The sun would shine on my face, walking would bring peace of mind and seeing civilization would make me feel a little more human.

I’m also needing this….
Daisies always cheer me up. They are like a smile on a stem!

And needing a bit of this...
A little love.. I seem to be extra fragile right now.

And some of this would be good…
New shoes, old shoes, just going somewhere fun shoes!
P.S. My whole post was suppose to be about Google Reader or RSS or whatever those things are called (Can’t think straight). What do you guys use? I set up google reader and I don’t think I’m doing it right. I just need the easiest way to quickly read all of my favorites and would love your input, you are all so smart! Do tell!
Aren’t these images beautiful? So many more beauties, that I can’t wait to look through {therapy on a screen, I think}, over at K.B.’s photo stream on Flickr

i love google reader! i think it's way easier than RSS feeds. i subscribe to over 150 blogs(which sounds really excessive) but it never seems to be that much when reading them in reader :)

I read my millions of blogs through Google reader on my igoogle page. In addition, I have set up the RSS subscription extension which allows for super easy subscribing. The extension places the RSS icon on your toolbar (so you don't have to search a site for it's subscription methods.) All of this was extremely easy for me to set up, so I am sure that you will be able to as well. Best of luck!

ps I use the "Reading List" on my "blogger" page (what you reach when you click on the little orange icon on your own blog). Is that the same as "Reader?" Some of my favorites don't show up there..so I also use the blog roll on my blog to see what's new! Does that make sense?

I'm sending you a hug, darling.
Also, I found this beautiful Etsy shop yesterday. It was just what I needed to see. You should check it out. It will make you smile, I promise.

hi again :) i wanted to let you know that i have found the easiest way to use google reader is the subscribe button. its REALLY easy to get. in your GR, go to "settings", then "goodies" and about the 3rd goody down is the subscribe button. you just drag is to your toolbar, and then whenever you are on a blog you want to subscribe to you click the button on your toolbar and it puts it into your GR. couldnt be easier! good luck!

Sending some love and an imaginary starbucks gingerbread latte with whip your way! (its my favorite during the Holiday season). Anywhoo, I use google reader and I absolutely love it

I have found the easiest way to use it though is to do it through your blog site (whatever one you use, blogger, blogspot, etc). Once you are logged in go to where you can add blogs to follow. Add the blogs you'd wish to see daily. then when you log in to google reader just click where it says blogs im following and you will have a giant screen just to the right of there where you can scroll through and it goes in chronological order of each post from each blog.

When i subscribe it doesn't seem as easy to follow in my reader, it's too separated, where I found following them from your blog site and then just looking at them in reader is much more concise.

I hope this is helpful and doesn't just confuse you more. It was a little difficult for me at the beginning as well. But now that I've got the hang of it I'm addicted.

Love you blog – have been reading your posts for some time now. Google Reader is great once you get the hang of it – makes it so much quicker to check your favourite blogs. Hope you are feeling cheerier this week.

    i forgot to say…..

    i remember when
(my now 21 yr old daughter)
    was a baby.
i felt very isolated and i was in the middle of a city.
it is almost impossible to be with a baby (that we adore)ALL DAY without conversation, and contact from big people.
i remember very clearly my feelings back then.
thank g-d for your blog and 'contact' in that way.
but is is not really enough.
i wish i had a magic solution or wand for you but i have none.
i did get a part-time job when she was almost 2.
and that helped a great deal.

    heart heart heart xxxx's

    :)
