Sometimes I am just as happy to watch a movie solely for style. The beauty of the scenery, clothes, and of course decor. We all have those movies that we can watch over and over again soaking in all of the little details. And in reading around I’ve found we all like some of the same ones. I have always loved You’ve Got Mail for this reason.
My friend Sara, just did a post on this and introduced me this super fun blog called Hooked on Houses. It’s all about tv & movie houses and full of great pictures. Pictures I’ve spent way to much time searching for online are all in one fabulous spot. You’ll love this!
I was always wanting a closer look at the way cool and most magical tent from the Holiday. And here it is. And speaking of, Meg of Whatever, just made one of these for her girls. How great is this? I so want to make one of these!
And speaking of movie decor….have you heard of the new show Cinema Style Designer Visions on FLN? It starts tonight.

I have always felt a tad shallow admitting that I watch certain movies again and again because of the houses they occur in. But as a very visual person, its often more than half the fun of watching! I feel less shallow now. Thank you. I am not alone.

oh! the dreamy little girls' tent from "the holiday!" one of my most favorite movies and one of the best scenes in the film. love.

i love you've got mail…for all the same reasons. that bookstore…help me! i love it.
and then on The holiday i love the cottage also.
