Do you like toast?
I like mine with tea.
And what I really like right now is this kitchen.
And the thing I like most, is that toaster. I’ve been looking for one for awhile now. And wouldn’t you know I covet the most expensive one? What can I say, I have good taste (ha). Do any of you have a Dualit Toaster? Someone please tell me that you do and that you love it and you can’t possibly live with out it. Not ever and nor ever. And can you see that kettle way back there? I have that very kettle and I think it is quite lonely with out the toaster. It told me so this morning while whistling to me.
Toast and tea to me are pure comfort. No price tag for that.
Oh…and…I’ve just returned from a two week hiatus {so I might be a little slow going}. And boy is it hard to get back into the swing of things. Unpacking {Yuck}, packing {lunches & snow clothes}, cleaning, and our dog returned. I never told you but he is old and he just had cataract surgery. He is naughty and likes to use the floor as his toilet. He has been recovering over at my grandpa’s and I could not thank him enough but speaking of enough…they have had enough of him & his non stop barking {I’ve had 11 years too much of it} and anyways he is back and left us all kinds of presents on the floor this morning..{not the ones you want to receive first thing in the morning}. You don’t want to know all this, I know. Viva la Max {I am afraid he might live forever}.

I love toast. I am a proper English girl and like mine with Marmite! :)
Or black cherry jam is very nice. Or just melted butter with salt and pepper (yes it's a strange invention! But it's delicious and it's best on Vogel Bread – sunflower and barley). mmmmm I'm getting hungry now!

ps. yes I have a dualit toaster! it is very good but I've never had another toaster so I have nothing to compare it to! I have this one:

Well you sure made me laugh about your dog. I have 2 and I agree I don't like the presents either. I have a chihuahua and I think she has ADD and can't think of how to go to the bathroom. She spins around and around to find a spot outside then doesn't end up going and spins around and around inside, but at least on the tile floor!
I hope you find your toaster and hopefully for a good deal, love the teapot!

I had wanted a Dualit toaster for years after spying them in every stylish kitchen in every stylish magazine. I finally scored one through ebay last year. The seller said one unit would not work & I knew that my husband could fix about anything. With the purchase of a new switch, & about 10 min.'s of his time, I had a smashing Dualit for under $50. incl. new switch. I cherish that crazy toaster as if it were a Mercedes or a piece of Chanel. Hoping you find one someday soon too. x

I love toast it has to be white bread too!! I know not as healthy as wholemeal but you cannot beat white bread with real butter & home made strawberry jam! Love the toaster great buy if you got it, & cute kettle!!

And I'm glad you share my love of toast. I am with you Elaine… white bread makes the best toast with butter and Jam. I do like a good whole grain with peanut butter too.

Hi there, yep I have a dualit toaster…7 years old, used and loved every day, still going strong…my fav is a cinnamon & raisin bagel popped in for 2 mins!

I have that toaster, wanted it forever. However, not too longer after buying it, we moved to Japan and now I can't find a darn transformer big enough to use it. So now it sits on my countertop looking beautiful, but I can't use it! Oh well, can't have everything I guess.

YES. No joke, my Dualit toaster changed my life. Yes yes!! Invest immediately.
