So we need a new high chair {kind of}. You know by # 3 they are kind of, well, crusty. And mine seems to have a bit of mold on it… so there it goes.
And of course, I’m on to modern this time around. No more, every baby device must match, in Graco plaid for me {what. was. I. thinking?}
There is HIGH {as in price} – The Tripp Trapp Chair. Grows with you. Comes in fabulous colors. Baby sits right at table with everyone. Pretty fabulous!
And there is LOW {again, in price} – The IKEA Antilop. Doesn’t get cheaper than this. And looks pretty sleek. I think this might even scoot right up to the table too {at least it looked like it did on the last episode of Tori and Dean (I know, it’s sad, but I kind of think I could be friends with them, you too?)}
Do you have either of these HIGH {or LOW} or Chairs?
And does anyone have one of these?

Don't have a high chair, but I like the one in the second photo and I think maybe it'll match most decors!

Those are beautiful choices. I must admit, we did not choose based on looks, but I do love our highchair(s). (We just added a second since we had twins this time). We have the Chicco Polly, which is supremely adjustable, can be pulled up to the table, and really grows well with the child. It's also easy to clean. I wouldn't change a thing.

We have the Tripp Trapp chair and we love it! My daughter is now 5 but she still sits in it and then its perfect when my niece visits and she is 1. Its so easy to switch levels also. It was a good investment!

I have the IKEA chair and after three kiddies it's the best at the best price. I think they even make some pads to give it a bit more cush. Good luck.

Sadly, the cool ones didn't come along until my boys were older (of I didn't know about them!!)

OK. I have the peg perego in my apt(250) and the ikea one you pictured at my moms house.
The Ikea high chair is 10x better. Its simple, cleanable, small, and she cant climb out.
The peg perego is a covered in filth. There is no way to get the food out of every single crevice.. its a crust ball.
You can hose that ikea chair down, its light as a feather and it gets the job done.
Get the ikea!

We have the ikea chair. Its perfect! Easy to clean and if you take the tray off they can be at the table with the rest of the family.

I've considered switching from my Peg Perego to the IKEA one…can't seem to keep the one we have clean.
We also have the Beaba Babycook and LOVE it. Made all of the little one's food when she was still eating baby food and now use it to steam veggies and make my protein shakes in the AM. Totally worth the investment!

we have the trip trap – love it and had grand plans to get one for each child so it could grow with them and become their desk chair etc long after they didn't need a high chair. but zak didn't want a bar of it once he decided he was big enough to sit on the bench seats with us. and now layla just wants to sit on the bench seat with him so it'll remain only as a high chair for any subsequent children! so the grow-with-them part didn't work in my house, but i much prefer the look of it in the room than any plastic chair – it doesn't stand out at all.

we have trip traps for our children ages 1, 4 and 5 and love them. i love that they bring the child to the table height rather than them sitting too low and reaching/looking up at table. great for interaction as whole family is at same level. very good quality as well. can you tell we love our trip traps?? we have the red ones and the chdn think that is cool too.
