A few years back, after returning from England, I decided to paint MY FRONT DOOR blue. I don’t think it is the best color choice for my house (agree?). And anyways, I’ve got an itch to change it. Now if I had a white house really any color might suit it but for now these are the colors I’m stuck on or rather considering . . .
*Yellow (for some reason I can’t get enough yellow- shoes, doors, purses, etc- more yellow doors)
*Greenish
*Black
Do you have a colorful front door or a favorite front door color? If your considering a color change like me, this idea over here is pretty nifty.

I think a black or greenish door would be lovely!
I would love to paint my front door a fun colour but unfort in Australia we get so many flies that we have to have a screen door infront of our main door and it just doesn't have the same effect. You'll have to post pics when/if you do it!

Go for it, it's as easy as picking up a paint brush. It will bring a smile to your face each time you see it.

Funny, I want a yellow or orange door now. Those doors make me want to step inside and say "anybody home?" Love them.

Is it possible to bookmark an entire post? because this is one of my favorites EVER. Nothing beats a great entrance. I love these.
I am loving yellow lately, too.

I love that yellow door idea. I am always drawn to bright colours when I'm walking the street. I can also think of a few memorable red doors. They look more welcoming than my dreary front door.

I agree – high gloss black would look amazing on your house. Our front door is pillarbox red on a cream and grey weatherboard and I just love it! Makes the house look happy and cozy!
