I la la LOVE
Getting something special in the mail
*Yesterday was my birthday {thank you for the sweet comments} and I received a package in the mail from my sister. Although she doesn’t live far we write letters & send packages to each other on a regular basis {have I told you this?}. And her letters and packages are always my favorite. She is an artist & an amazing writer. Just her envelopes usually light up my whole week.
So what she sent me was the very pretty Penguin Classic version of Emma. After opening I pulled out my other copies of Emma and noticed I’ve got quite the collection going. And each copy is so special. The small pink copy my sister also bought for me while traveling in South Africa. And the very old copy in the middle with the sweet little heart on the spine is a very old copy from my dear friend Maggie in England. She scoured all around England to find it. And of course my newest addition from my sister. I’ve always loved Emma. And I think I’ll keep the collection going. It’s quite pretty and just looking at pretty books and knowing the pages are full of gorgeous words makes me quite happy.
***So I think I’m starting somewhat of a new series. I’ve done la la Love before and usually it is something that I want or something I don’t have. But really there is so much that I am surrounded by that I truly love. People, places, experiences, goodness, and of course things {yes, sometimes the littlest of things make me so very happy, you too right?} so keep an eye out on Fridays***

Love that you collect "Emma" — I collect leather-bound Austen books too. I always keep an eye out at flea markets and eBay for them.
