On my last trip to Atlanta I stumbled upon an artist that I knew I had to share with you all (very Sixx Design style, if you will)
Meet Artist Mark Boomershine & his fabulous, fun pieces of art. I love his pop art style. Mark’s work is bold, fresh, whimsical and endearing. He has a way of capturing an image, telling a story & keeping it lively. I really can’t pick a favorite piece as there are so many that I adore. I hope to one day give one of these beauties a home (hint hint, to the mister).
Here are a few of my favorites :
Who wouldn’t want a picture of Wonder Women? This might be my favorite. Looking at Wonder Woman every morning might just make me feel part “super” and not so human. I’d say to myself “Al the world is waiting for you,” as I walked out the door to take on my day!
“The Loss of a Dear Friend”
Pure Elegance that Princess Diana. Doesn’t she always carry a certain look in her eyes. Sadness & Beauty. Love & Tragedy.
“Tough Guy”
I don’t know why but I love this one. But who doesn’t love Clint Eastwood. I think this would look beyond perfect in the misters study.
Abstracts
Mark also has a number of abstracts. And I *heart* this one. An abstract piece of art that says LOVE. Thinking this would be perfect in my family room. Note: add this one to wish list too.
