A 1st Birthday Party

Today my Liam Brave is ONE.

This past Saturday we celebrated with a full on party + his baby dedication . . . it was quite a

H O O T.

We had quite the celebration. A house full of family + friends. We started the day with Liam’s baby dedication. Our dear friend and pastor dedicated Liam in our home which was quite special and meaningful. And then we moved on to a feast of food and cake. Isn’t that cake spectacular? I was beyond excited with the way it turned out and it was divine. I’m not a huge cake girl and let’s just say it was a good thing there wasn’t a lot of leftovers.
We hung the swing in our living room and I think it is the greatest thing ever. A lot of other mom’s think I am crazy nut job but the kids think I’m pretty cool. I know it will bring some extra sunshine during our long winter and it definitely adds just the right amount of whimsy to my home. And now the kids are asking for a slide to the basement.
As for my hair . . . I went dark. Hopefully I’ll snap a picture or two this week (when my hair is actually done) and then share. I really like it. I think I’d still like it a little lighter on my ends to get the full ombre look, though.
Sorry for the lack of posts. With the party and company and being pregnant, I’m pretty much wiped out. I’ll be back next week after the holiday and look forward to chatting with you all then.
Have a beautiful Thanksgiving with your loved ones!
xoxo

What a wonderful Party!!! And, I love, love , love the swing in the living room. They grow up really fast- why not let them swing inside when it's so cold outside. Fun!

    Enjoy!!!

That cake is adorable. (Not as adorable as little L.B., of course.)
And the swing in the living room rocks.

I was wondering about your hair. I hope you let us see it.
