Right now . . .
This is what is starring me in the face. Switching 3 kids rooms around is a lot of work. That is, if you are trying to weed through things and get rid of a lot of crap (I know this is not a lovely word but, let’s face it, that is what it is.. McDonald’s toys, old scrap papers, random puzzle pieces, etc. all mixed in with giant toys that should not be in bedrooms. I have 2 rooms pretty much done (not as in decorating but as in sorted). And I threw the rest in the room above (and this brings me to a massive pile now being accumulated in the basement toy room that will now have to be sorted too – does it ever end?). There is no way around a pile like that, though. Oh, this room is now going to be the boys room. Bunk bed’s a giant wall of chalkboard paint, etc. etc. Have you seen any fun light fixtures?
It was a hand me down that was given to us (it was made in Europe). I thought right away it had a real Bazaar Style look. And about 2 weeks later I got the Urban Outfitters catalog . . .
I definitely think it would look fabulous with these pillows . . .
And this is sort of the look I’m going for in my oldest’s room. A little wallpaper, maybe.
Anyways, it’s back to sorting and cleaning for me. Hope you have a great week!

re: black wall. i LOVE mine – I couldn't do the entire room black, but one wall is fine. and i'd do a chalkboard wall in my kids room in a second if we didn't have carpet… x
