It Doesn’t Hurt to Ask

If I could ask Santa for ANYTHING (besides world peace and cures for terrible diseases, etc.) here is what I’d be asking for:
1} A food tour of Italy
ending in Capri for some relaxing time at the sea

2} I liked to take the family across the sea and live in another land for a year. I think France would work just fine. A house like this?
It would probably look something like this inside and cooking would not be a chore
And we could head here on the weekend
3} And if Europe is out of the question. I’d be happy to give life in California a try. Santa Barbara?

4} Although I’m a tad more interested in places and spaces than things at the moment. I’d be quite happy to except a little shimmer. Like this Cartier Leve Bracelet.

And if that one is too expensive I’d surely settle for this one

This was a fun little escape from reality on a regular old Thursday full of everyday life and the holiday rush.
If you could wish for ANYTHING for Christmas what would it be?

I have more irrealistic wishes like:

onger days- 30 hours long day and more time to sleep
one free month to go skiing

    Ant other wishes like:
a spacious room where I could work more comfortably for uni,
    new sofa
and a miu miu boston bag.

p.s. that second cartier bracelet is beautiful!!

I'd love to live near our friends out in Oregon State. We'd Travel most of the time and lead a simple and clean life. The kids would learn to surf the oceans and ski the mountains all over the world. We'd travel to Patagonia & Nepal for some amazing adventures taking 6 months letting the world be their school. However instead of the bracelet I'd have closet full of tennis shoes, all unique and different. I'd be more of the adventure and places type, the things dont entice me as much either.

I'd love to remodel the kitchen right about now…maybe the powder room too…a trip to Australia sounds wonderful…

I could go on and on!

After reading this…..I realize I haven't been dreaming big enough! I love your picks….and as they say, if you can dream it, it can happen! So, here's to hoping you eventually get something on that fabulous list.

And….have never seen the leather version of the love bracelet. I like it even better than the original. Now, that, is going on my list. It might have to be Christmas 2011.

    Merry everything!

    Love your pictures!

Instead of a food tour, I would love to attend a week long cooking school in Italy.

I would also love to spend a month in the Blue Ridge mountains in a fabulous cabin. Snuggled under a blanket with my children with hot cocoa, watching the snow fall softly. The warmth of a real wood fire.

Yes, I have been living in FL for far too long… :-)

After living in Europe for 4 years and doing all the travelling to Italy and France, I wish to finally settle somewhere with my guy in our own place and not be apart so much with his work. :)

as for your post a week or so ago -re:the frivolity of it all… i think we all feel that way – but use blogland as our escape – a bit more honest is good… but not too much! :)

Great list honey, similar to mine without the Italy food tour (I don't eat tomatoes and I have spent 3 months there eating a lot of cheese). Thanks for stopping by and the tin of Roses has gone at last. Have a great weekend. ax
