Do you make homemade Valentine’s?
I’m guilty of buying the terrible Barbie and Transformer boxes from Walgreen’s in a pinch. That might all change this year. I loved this super cute and easy, if I don’t say so myself, idea from Country Living.
Do you have any favorite Valentine’s cards or crafts?

Well, this idea is brilliant! Valentine's Day is my absolute favorite since the love of my life walked into my heart on this very day 14 years ago…
Let's hope I can carve some time out of the busy schedule to make some fun Valentine's … nothing beats 'made with love'!

What a wonderful idea! However… I *am* a big fan of finding the most ridiculous Walgreens cartoon-ish cards and sending them to everyone I know with sickingly-gushing I Love You messages in them. I'm not sure what my friends would think if I sent GOOD cards this year… :)

Simply Mel – that takes Valentines to a whole other level.
Joslyn – i think I'm going to have to sneak around to a few stores in my area so I don't wipe out all of one color swatch!
Rosy – i like the idea of totally embracing the ridiculous cards.. if you are going to use them then do it whole heartedly!

Hubs and I always exchange handmade Valentines, but the boys have always bought Spiderman or X-Men, etc. cards to exchange at school.

I always make a card for my husband, he loves them and would be disappointed if I bought him one!
Have a fabulous day!

Yes! I still have my daughter's favorite. Take thin metal wire. Shape it into a heart. Then, take thinner metal wire and string pretty beads on it. Wrap the thinner metal wire (with beads) around the metal heart (sort of like a dream catcher). I think we did found this idea on Martha Stewart. Today, she is a teen and we hang hers from a lamp switch to sparkle in the light.
