Birthdays and Valentine’s

I’m sorry for my disappearing act.
Last week turned out to be a very not good week.  Both myself and my 1 year old were sick and then got way sick.  We are still not 100% … but doing better.  I would not have made it through this week if it weren’t for my wonderful mom and my wonderful husband.
On top of all of that mess . . . It was my little big girl’s birthday.  We carried on the best that we could and had a little party on Saturday.  Lunch at a fancy restaurant (there is a t.v. in the bathroom mirror – most exciting part) and then some pampering at the nail salon.
We made these mouse cupcakes {that I spied over at Real Simple} for El’s school celebration.
Oh… and one of my fav prezzies that El got was a whole little kit of forms and stickers and papers and trays and so forth to make for playing restaurant.  A favorite past time of ours.  Such a fun gift to give or receive.
And… Happy Valentine’s Day to you!  I hope your day is super sweet and filled with some sort of surprise.
I’m still pretty fuzzy so I’m off to take a cup of tea and some rest!
PS- Thank you so much to those of you who have taken my SURVEY.  If you haven’t and wouldn’t mind taking a few minutes to do so… I’d be flattered to hear from you.  Just CLICK HERE!

    Hey Trina,

I hope that the bug leaves your system quick smart and you're enjoying sparkling health.

The birthday party looks wonderful – loving that sharp hat – especially the little mice!

El is the cutest little thing. Looks like she quite charismatic, too. :)

I hope you get to feeling better soon. Hugs and warm wishes for a happy Valentine's Day, doll.

    Thanks, everyone!!!!!

Cat- my friend just came up with the idea and put one together. Bought phone messages, gift certificates, an order pad etc from office depot and then various other little things to put it all together. So fun!

Hope you are back to 100% soon! It looks like those adorable little moppets had a wonderful party – the cupcakes are precious! But I must admit – my heart belongs to the photo of colored pencils. So bright and beautiful and one can nearly smell the shaved wood. Bliss!
