I’ve got the blues. The vacation blues, actually, You know when you return and all you can think about, talk about and look at is your vacation? That’s me.
The Mister and I had a fabulous time in St. Thomas. To good to be true, really. I’m kind of feeling like it might have all been a dream. The really good kind, you know where it is clear and hazy all at the same time. Every detail is a shimmer. And you need to relive it again just to make sure it was true.
All we did was sit at the beach and read, eat and sleep and then sit some more and eat, read and sleep some more. The most grueling thing was a catamaran ride over to St. John to do some shopping and snorkeling. Exhausting, I tell you.
Well, I traded in the sand for mountains of snow {we missed the snow storm of the century} and the bluest waters for my 3 babies, baby blues {prettier than any ocean, I promise}. And sadly, my beach reading for piles and piles of school papers and to to do’s that I’m just not at all interested in{last night found me making valentines boxes and the like}.
This is week is busy. My little big girl is turning 8 which means cupcakes, and cakes and presents and parties. Hopefully a normal week for L and the Brave is sick {and so is me . . .again}. So wishing and praying for a some super powers. That and maybe an extra dose of exercise and chocolate and I think it should be a pretty great week.
Hope your week is every kind of perfect.
And I promise no more beach pictures after this post, I think {unless I need a small fix, maybe?}.

There's nothing like a clear blue sky and stretch of blue ocean to make you long for another vacation right away. So thrilled to hear you had a lovely time. Perhaps another trip will be in your near future?

Thats what is so wonderful about blogs. We can all live vicariously through other people's vacations…and turn off the photos if need be…and then turn them back on again. Lovely photos. I was tickled by the "feet"!

I'm with you! We've been home from Hawaii for one week & I keep staring wistfully at our photos. I loved coming home because home is home for a reason . . . but still :-)
