Fave Friday

This picture just makes me happy in so many ways.  I spied it over at Tiny Dallas (a new children’s site started by the super stylish and smart Joslyn and 2 other pretty talented ladies.  I live no where near Dallas but that doesn’t seem to make it irrelevant in the least bit to me).  Besides just being a super sweet picture, to me, it’s like a big sweet slice of nostalgia.  I had {still have} that very Cabbage Patch kid.  Her name was Erin {wish I could remember her middle name}.  Did you have a Cabbage Patch Kid?  And can you remember it’s name?  My very first one was named Wilma.  Didn’t they always have really great and sometimes fantastically ugly names?

I've still got two of my Cabbage Patch Kids. However, I never used their names. I always made up my own. My mom has them at her house for my little niece to play with.

I love this photo! I have two daughters exactly fourteen months apart. This reminds me so much of their younger days! To this day, they engage in such conversations it is such a joy to overhear them!

Oh! And my Cabbie's name was Christopher Thomas…I still have him. He sits in my daughters' room!

My Cabbage Patch Kid's name was Maude Jobie. Isn't that a great name?
