Do you like to read?  I do.  It’s just I don’t have quite as much time as I’d like to indulge in the luxury.  But somehow, summer always begs me to pick up a book far more than any other season.  I love to sit outside and get lost in some other world.

I like all kinds of books, the learning kind, the classics, fiction and even the very indulging chick-lit.  Warm air always leads me to either a classic or fiction of some sorts (I’ll save the learning for the colder weather, it is summer break, after all).

I finally finished The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.  I had a hard time getting into the book and when I finally did it was no problem but pretty gruesome.  Definitely not my normal fair.  So now I’m onto something a little lighter.  Reading Fern + Feather the other week she was raving about A Homemade Life.  Best book ever, she called it, actually.  The book is by Molly Wizenberg, author of the famous blog Orangette.  It’s stories + recipes and Alexis said she has been carrying the book around with her and cooking from it.  Sounds good to me.  I’ve just ordered a copy + can’t wait to dig in (with my eyes + my fork).

What’s on your summer reading list?

I’d like to add a classic to mine as well.  That is, if I can muster up enough brain cells, on low amounts of sleep + chasing 4 little la la’s.

P.S.  Today is the LAST DAY to enter the Face Spray Giveaway.  I’ll announce a winner tomorrow.  Imagine… sitting in the sun, reading a book + refreshing your face with a quick spray of bliss!

I adore reading and it’s been driving me crazy I haven’t gotten to do much lately (schoolwork — yick). Good news is that school will be over soon and I’ll have some delicious free time. I already have several books I want to read, mostly about food, because that’s the way I roll.

I love to read, but am also finding it hard to find the time! I’ve been getting my books from the library and have a hard time finishing them in the 3 weeks they give me!
