Our first guest post is from none other than the fabulous Jules of the Diversion Project. Just the name of her blog, gets me. For me this blogging world is a great diversion, yes? If I’m ever in need of a design pick me up, I head over to the Diversion Project. It always, and I mean always, has stylish house upon house to drool over and be inspired by. And now here is what Jules is la la Loving . . .
Hi, I’m Jules from The Diversion Project. I’m squirming-in-my-chair delighted that Trina asked me to chip into the “hey sister, i’m havin a baby, can you spare me a post” fund.
One of the regular posts that Trina blows me away with is her la la love series. This girl finds THE coolest stuff ever. So I thought I’d take a swing at pulling something out of my hat for you all.
The thing that’s really got me by the attention-span-antlers lately is Turkish linens. Soft, beautiful colours and lovely textures. I poured over hammam peshtemals, or Turkish towels, when I was in Istanbul some years ago but sadly, as a back packer, decided that buying a beautifully cooked fish off the back of a boat in the harbour was a far better use of money.
So how much am I loving these linens available on Etsy? Bucket loads. These gorgeous items come from two very lovely etsy stores called Bath Style and Pop-lin Homewear. Both stores are located in Istanbul, and both a chock full of the lovely stuff.
Gorgeous, classic cut sleep wear and a rainbow of peshtemals = perfect gift for a new Mum at home, in need of a bit of luxury….. {{Happy to help with some personal shopping Mr McNeilly if you’re in need of assistance!!}}
Thanks Trina for having me over, sweet sleep and dreams to you darl xx
