Fave Friday

Dear la la lovelies, how was your week?  I had good days + some not so great days but I’m thinking about the good ones.  I hope your days were more good than bad and I’d love to hear about them.  Nothing spectacular in the works this weekend but that is the way I like it.  In fact, as I type this I’m just now realizing that it is the 4th of July weekend. OY!  I have no plans or any great ideas, which makes me a little sad.  I used to be 4th of July Trina.  You would like her.  It’s me, just me a little crazay.  I should tell you a story or two.  Yes?  It would make you laugh (ok, check back on the 4th + maybe I’ll have a little something prepared + if not Monday than surely on Tuesday).

You want to know about the cookie(s) right?  A picture recipe + other combo ideas.
I’m always searching for the perfect + just right recipe book.  The kind that is “pass down” worthy.  Simple but pretty and of course quite functional.  I think this might be it!
You know I like to write.  Especially letters.  I adore this idea for kids or even grownies.  Heck, I might do this!
Some design eye candy?  Yes!  The Novogratz have a new website + even better their new show airs on HGTV July 16th.
Some pretty cool kids crafts that you won’t want to toss when completed.

Oh, I love the idea of sending letters to your future self. But I would want to wait longer than a year to read them. And that recipe book is definitely pass- downable.
