School Started today. I’m all kinds of random. I know things should be easier with 2 in school and 2 at home. But today it all seemed a bit harder. Longer day, more details. A bored little one missing his la la and Lukie. I’m sure the days will get easier as we settle into a routine but today was just all kinds of sad. Do you like or loathe the first day of school?
These are the backpacks I ordered for the kids. Still waiting on them to arrive.
I’m trying to be a little more creative with lunches this year. Here are some ideas from last year.
Do you bag it or box it? These are my favorite lunch boxes.

the first day of school is approaching for us as well and it makes me super sad. one would think this would be cause for celebration because 3 of mine will be in school (first grade and 2 kinders) and just one at home, but it makes me sad. growing up my mom cried every time we started school (there are 7 of us total) even when she dropped me off at college. us moms are silly that way i guess. i’m sure it will get easier for you and i’m hoping the same for me, and all of the others out there who shed a tear or two at the thought of their littles growing up so fast.

Super cute lunch box! And I love the first day photos — though I can’t honestly believe that kids are already starting back at school. Where did the summer go?

That backpack is awesome!! My niece started kindergarten a few weeks ago. Every time I would hear about her crying at school, it made me want to cry. (actually, I think I did a little bit.)

I’m so sad that Kitty is starting in a week or so. My little boy will feel like his right arm is missing without his partner in crime. I know it will be alot harder to entertain him and look after the baby without her around. And really i think i’m just going to miss something approaching adult conversation…a 4 year old girl can be really quite grown up!
