Fave Friday

I’m going to practice my cat eye lining skills this weekend as I’ve finally bought some liquid liner (also bought this very cool shadow but brought home the wrong color). Gosh, this top photo has me thinking that maybe just maybe I should have kept the gap in my two front teeth (I think I’d need those lips too).  I’m also totally loving the look of the darker eyebrows with the lighter hair (above) which I spied in the August issue of Lucky.  Both of these photographs are by Patric Shaw + I’m totally taken with his work.  Check it out if you are looking for some pretty this weekend.  And I hope you’re weekend is full of all things pretty.

Off to make a fairy lunch for my littles + their friends!

Sorting with Style Giveaway – right here on la la.

I want to make this milk chocolate tart with pretzel crust like now!

These are pretty brilliant for infant car seats.

I’ve never seen an iphone case quite like this.  I can’t decide if it is uber classy or uber rock?

Thank you all for the kind kind words about my grandpa, the thoughts, and the prayers!  You are all so dear + it has been so special for me to share my love for him with all of my faraway friends!

Also, Heather S has won the Thank You Card Shop Giveaway.  Please contact (trina@lalalovelythigns.com) me by Monday or a new winner will be announced.

Happy Weekend lovelies!

I would so love to be able to pull off this sultry look, but I worry my hand just isn’t steady enough. Maybe I’ll practice too. Have a brilliant weekend, Trina!

Funny that you post this…I have been working on the perfect liquid liner car eye. Still not there yet but I use a q tip to make the line appear smoother when I have shakey hands.

Okay, I seriously want the brass iPhone cover. I don’t need a brass iPhone cover. Paying $115 for an iPhone cover seems pretty silly. I already have an iPhone cover. But….it’s just so cool!
