Fave Friday

Happy Friday.  It’s been a long week of dressing the kids up for spirit week, birthdays and so on.  We are wrapping the birthday up with a party on Saturday.  A jumpy, swimming, cotton candy and I’ll be making my traditional candy cake.  It will definitely be a sweet weekend around these parts.  And that is what I’m wishing you for you too . . . a sweet sweet weekend.

Isn’t that castle above rad?  Possibly the greatest use of colored tape yet.  Here are the instructions + guess who came up with this brill idea?

I missed this post a few months back but found it really helpful.

I really heart this “little” video in a big way.

Curling up with a book this weekend?  Check out Daily Candy’s 100 books they can’t live without.

Did you miss the Missoni craze?  This super cute DIY will make it all better.

Lamps Plus has a new blog, Style Illuminated, some fun posts from the likes of Emily Henderson.

ps-  Yesterday’s post has really brought on some great conversation, which has sparked some great ideas from some pretty fab ladies (and this is why I blog)… be sure to get to the good stuff in the comments section.  And this week’s Goop is all about beauty from the inside out with Dr. Perricone + fits perfectly with the current conversation.
