My favorite this week is all of the cubbies. What is up. I need a cubbie or two in my house and preferably one that I myself can fit in. I can’t recall where I found this first image but the second two are from a book store in Bejing, called Kids Republic Bookstore. I’m so over Barnes + Noble after seeing this!
I need someone to build me some cubbies like the top ones. It just might solve all the sleep arrangement dilemmas going on at my house. We’ve been playing musical rooms around here [again]. I decided that it would probably be best to move baby Rocco out of our room at this point even if 2 others had to bunk up. It was just a matter of who should share. I like to give things a try before moving everything around. So Liam (almost 2) has been sleeping in Luke’s (6) room all week in a pack and play and Rocco has moved into Liam’s room. So far so good and I’m happy to report Rocco is sleeping a bit better and I’m feeling a bit more like a human being rather than a robot mom from the planet Crabby.
And thus, it looks like my plans this weekend will be moving junk from room to room. I just hope we can stick with this arrangement for awhile. At least maybe until the youngest boys can share the bunk beds.
Do you have any exciting plans? Do tell. I’ll live vicarously thorugh you.
Speaking of children’s bookstores. I have a thing for children’s books + this one looks beyond amazing.
What do you think about overly styled design vs. authentic design? I enjoyed this read.
Need some new makeup [tips] stop here first for some really great recs
I saw this via The Glitter Guide + I did not know I needed one of these but I think all veg lovers do
As for The Glitter Guide – I loved this home tour

I dont know- maybe it is the season but I have also been re-arranging our abode this week. The sleeping arrangments are pretty set in store- our kids share a room- end of story! But I decided to take back the living room! I moved the toy shelving unit into the kids room- re-arranged their beds and then brought out all my books and pretties into the living room. I never thought I would see this day arrive! Of course we still have the kids kitchen, tee pee and easel in the living room but at least it doesnt look like a day care any more:)

Oh, my Lord!!! I want that first room! In grown-up size. That is so cool.
I hope you get the musical rooms situation figured out with your littles. Lucky for Elle, she’s the only girl and won’t ever have to worry about it! Happy weekend, Trina.

I know aren’t those cubbies something. I think we got the rooms sorted for the most part. I exhausted myself and there is still a pile of books and toys in the hallway. I figure it will get done by next weekend ;) Yes, I told Ella she is pretty lucky because she is safe in all of the rooms changes now and to come ;) Hope you had a happy halloween!
