Happy Birthday to my little B/F/F.  Today you are age 9.  Which, of course, seems possibly impossible.   Happiness hit me the moment I knew I was having you and happiness has followed me every day since.

+You are personality wrapped up in pink
+You sing more than you talk [and it should be noted you talk a lot] and your voice is pretty and powerful
+ You are smart and quick on your feet.  You catch things that sometimes shouldn’t even be caught.
+You love to play school [1, 2, 3 eyes on me] +You’re favorite thing to wear is a black sequin skirt and a pink flower shirt.
+Your hair always finds its way into a ponytail, although, everyday I beg for braids.
+Your little brother calls you La La and looks up to you like I look up to the stars in the sky.
+ You would listen to I Love You Like a Love Song Baby all the day long, if I would let you.
+You first wanted to be a cooker, and now you want to be a singer.
+You write stories.  Stories that are funny.  Stories that interesting.  Stories that should be told.
+You wear pink glasses, not because you need them but because you like them.
+ You are beautiful.  Yes, of course on the outside but also on the inside, where it counts the most.
+ You like to dance
+You ask, every week, if you can quit piano.  Every week, I say no.
+You are my little helper.  Do you know I’d be lost without you?

Today  is your golden birthday.  But my darling, for me, every day is golden so long as I am with you.  For you are brighter and more beautiful than all the gold this world holds.  Is it any wonder?  After all, your name does mean shining light + beautiful fairy.  Simply put, you add light and magic to my life every. single. day.  I love you Ella Gracie!
