Fave Friday

My fave this week is saying goodbye to winter.  It’s been oddly warm here for the middle of March.  So much so that flowers are blooming and the grass is turning green.  Usually the wind is still bustling and I always allow myself to expect snow in April.  It’s better not to be disappointed and its just how it usually happens around here.  I suppose it’s too early to tell how the next month will play out, but for this week, I’m saying my goodbyes to winter.  Hello spring. Pleased to meet you.

P.S. Aren’t these photos pretty?  This is my neighborhood and street.  Winter really is magical around here.  At least when it snows.

Any faves from you this week lovelies?  Stories to share.  Sights (or sites) to see?  As always . . .

< a F E W of my  F A V E S  this week >

01 / Don’t waste your time trying to “find” your style.  I love this post written by my friend, from ALT, Promise Tangeman.  It is good stuff.

02 / And speaking of Promise.  She has some great hair.  Seriously.  Like she is known for it.  Check out her hair how to  (with The Girls With Glasses)+  messy bun tutorial for some hair fun this weekend.

03 / Get crafty.  This little heart garland so cute + and another, “duh, why didn’t I think of that?”

04 / Kinfolk is hosting dinner parties all over the country.  Yes!  Please come to Chicago!

05 / Comparing is never good, even online.

06 / Vicki’s home makes me le sigh!

Love your round-up! & that article about “comparison” is so good! Thanks for sharing!
PS – love your Creative Crush! I have NO (no!) plants in my home– & I really think that is what’s missing! I need some leafy life!
    Have a beautiful weekend!

Thanks, friend. I loved the article about comparison, too. It’s like a needed read every few months. And so glad to inspire a little green in your home. I love succulents and they are so easy to keep alive but I’m hoping to add more leafy greens soon! Hope you have a great weekend too!

Oh, I know exactly what you mean about getting your spring hopes up. It usually gets so pretty around here, with tons of trees and plants blooming out, and then there will be a major cold snap again and ruin everything. I have my fingers crossed that it stays nice, though.
