Fave Friday

Have you dyed Easter Eggs yet?  It’s on our agenda today (which is also the first day of spring break).  How beautiful are these Tea dyed Easter Eggs?  I love the earthy look.  Don’t you.  I’m totally taken with the idea of dying with foods rather than food coloring.  We, however, will be using the cheapo color tablets and going completely kid crazy on our eggs. I love that Easter always brings with it new life and new beginnings.  And well, plenty of candy too.  It’s sweet all around.

Do you have any Easter Traditions?  I’m curious, what candy was in your Easter basket each year?  For me it was always a chocolate bunny, Peeps, jelly beans, a carton of Whoppers, Cadbury Eggs, and Hershey Eggs.  Of course, my kids now get the same.  I like to be all samesies.

Happy Easter lovelies.

These eggs are incredibly beautiful! The only thing that ever keeps me from dying tons of Easter eggs every year is having to eat the hardboiled egg — it’s not my favorite way to prepare eggs. But for these, I just may do it.

Happy Easter! I hope you and your family have a sweet one together!
