Hi lovelies.  How is this week finding you?  Well, I’ll start with this…  Ella’s room got painted and I’m pretty happy with the results.  We painted most of the room white and then did a design on the main wall using the above colors.  We then painted her powder room pink and the actual bathroom orange.  I think it looks pretty great.

The next step was purchasing the bed. I had known that I wanted the above bed from IKEA as it was modern, feminine and perfect for our budget.  I held off buying it because I thought we would get the room painted first.  Well, Saturday I clicked over to IKEA only to see that the bed had been discontinued.  I kind of had a mini meltdown.  I know that is not a great reason to have a meltdown but it was reason enough for over tired me.  Ughh.

HELP……Have you seen anything similar that does not break the bank?  The thing of it is, I need something with a very low headboard (like above) to show as much of the design on the wall as possible.

On another note,  I also received the lights  in the mail and guess what….I’m returning them.  Major disappointed but they are so not the gold color they appear to be on the website (they are more like a dark bronze).  I think we are going to go with these instead.

Any suggestions, tips or ideas are, as always, totally appreciated.  I’m really trying my best to finish this room (I have a tendency to half decorate and move on to the next room) and I can’t wait to show you all.
