Somebody That I Used to Know…I’ve been wanting to post this video for a few weeks now and I couldn’t help but create a look that corresponds with each video. The song by Gotye and video are pretty popular so chances are, you have seen it. This is just one of those songs that gets in your head and won’t go away. Yes, because it is a catchy tune but yes x2 because the words stay with you. I love the art in this video and after googling around a bit more, I found this remix video version (video #2) that I’m mildly obsessed with. I mean it is gorgeous. Beautifully sad is how I would really describe it.
But, lets end on funny, shall we? SNL did a parody of the (original) video which had me snorting out loud. You can snort and see it right here.
So what is up weekend? I’m so glad you are here. It’s been a long long week for me and I’m hoping to get a little extra sleep, watch movies and just chill. What about you?

Well. Now that I’ve smiled and laughed and cried…..I can get on with my weekend.
You did a beautiful job on these story boards. They really touch on the feeling on the videos.

That second video is so incredibly haunting. I just felt the weight of the emotion there — that feeling like you’ve grown so far apart from someone…
Have a wonderful weekend, my dear!
