I’m happy to introduce you to, another Melissa this week . . . Melissa of Savvy in San Francisco. I met Melissa at (yes, you guessed right) ALT this past year. We arrived around the same time at the airport, and shared a cab (along with Jeanne) over to the hotel. Melissa and I quickly found out we had a lot in common as we both had babies at home, around the same age, that we were both apprehensive about leaving (the babies did fine and so did we). Melissa is super sweet, funny and really great with her camera. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know her and keeping up with her blog. I’m pretty certain that if we lived in the same city we’d be having play dates often. I should tell you that Melissa has 3 beautiful children and if you haven’t already guessed, she lives in gorgeous San Francisco. And now, the mess:
My jewelry armoire becomes a catch all for my jewelry, make-up, hair ties, kids toys, etc. It’s always a little crowded and messy on top, but I love that it is my little corner boutique where I go each morning to shop for what I am going to accessorize my outfit with that day! Pieces of jewelry that range from fun and fashionable pieces to sentimental pieces that were given to me by my husband!
Our bedroom needs some love and attention. Since moving in we have made it manageable, but there are still boxes that need to be unpacked and we need to come up with some creative space usage since our closets are on the smaller side!
The kids playroom! It’s been the last on my list of priorities since the move – I unpacked 75% of it, but there is still more to unpack and it REALLY needs to be organized. But the problem with kids is that they can be little tornados. You clean up their mess the night before and then a couple hours into the morning and it’s like it was never cleaned. One of the big pluses from the move was that I was able to get all of those toys out of my living room and into their own space!

So what kind of mess is going on at your house, lovelies? My laundry is a little out of control. Ok, a lot out of control. I’d love to hear about your #mondaymess.
