Say, do you love where you live? Lately, I’ve been dreaming of other places, but I have to say there are quite a few things that I really love about where I live. I’m over on one of my fave blogs, Inspired to Share, talking about this very topic. Stop over and join the conversation.
And, I’d love to know….do you love where you live? What do you love about it and anything you don’t love so much?
P.S. I promise, What to Take on a Walk will make sense once you click over. But. . . these are my essentials for taking a stroll.

Oh Trina, this topic is constantly on my mind right now. We are thinking of switching gears and moving from LA LA Land to Utah. We are craving a slower pace and less of, well, everything. We are getting little signs and pushes from the most random places, your post being one of them. :) Thank you for sharing your thoughts about where you live. We love so much about living here, weather, family, our neighborhood, but with three littles we want more for them. Thanks again!

Thank you for your comment and wow, to be a little sign and push. I am feeling the same way in my life… I think I long for a place that has more going on but one of the biggest things I question is …..would it be best for my littles. I have no idea where the right place for us is, in the long run but it is definitely something I am thinking on these days. xo . trina. ps- keep me posted! such an exciting time.

As we are moving for my husband’s career soon, this very topic has been consuming my thoughts lately. The problem is we don’t have an exact location pinned down, and it’s between two very different states. Both, very far away from our current home. While moving sounds exciting, I have to say, your grounded sense of home is really what I long for. With a family of 6–including baby due 6 weeks before our big move, I’ve spent many nights awake wishing I had a crystal ball to show me where we will end up living. What I do know is your home can be in the place of your dreams, but if you are not with the one’s you love it will never ever feel like home.

Genni….well said! I love the song, Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. It says, “Home is Wherever I’m With You!” You will find the right place, I’m sure of it. That is a lot to figure out and be preggers. One day at a time…one day at a time! xo . t

Great guest post, Trina. And so beautifully written. Nature happens to be my favorite thing about where I live, too. Right in the heart of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. God’s glory never ceases to amaze me when I get to see mountains and animals and beautiful skies every day.

Ahhh, sounds gorgeous. I know there is just something so majestic about the mountains. I always think of God when I see them and feel such peace and strength. You are very lucky to be able to gaze upon them daily! xo . trina

At the moment, I’m liking bits & pieces of where I live. I liked the neighborhood I was in before and hope to return there soon. The old homes, trees overlaying the streets and people out made for walks in the evening.
