tis the season for fires in the fireplace and creating a cozy atmosphere. gazing upon the crackling fires this past weekend has got me thinking about the actual decor of the fireplace and mantle. i always seem to be a bit at loss as i have a very long mantle. since i’ve been thinking about fireplaces, i had to spy some new inspiration over on pinterest. aren’t they pretty? which is your favorite? and do tell, do you have any fireplace favorites?
ps- you take a peek at my fireplace over on instagram (you can follow along at @lalalovelythings).

Love this! They’re all gorgeous, but I can’t take my eyes away from the French by Design one…so cozy and simple. xo

Love the simplicity of the third photo, I want to sit on the floor leaving on that cushion, drink tea, and enjoy the warmth of that fire! Divine!
