truth be told, summer clothes are not my fave.  little dresses and shorts are just not that appealing to me.  i mean, i suppose they are but only if they come with a pair of long tan legs, too (i know, i know, but you’d order a pair too, right?).  i’m more of a big cozy sweater and boots kind of girl, to my southern husbands dismay.  i blame this, in part, to the climate i am accustomed to.

but, back to summer.  whilst shorts are not my thing, sandals totally are.  i almost like them more than boots.  ok, i equally love them.  what i love so much is that you just slip them right on and out the door you go, in a hurry and in a scurry.  i’m not much of shoe horder, but if you took a peek into my closet you’d find the collection consists mostly of sandals and boots.  this year, i’ve found a few pairs i’m crazy about and i thought you just might be too.

i just bought the top black ones from top shop and LOVE them (they look patent leather in the photo but they are not – which i prefer)!  they are comfy and dressy enough for me.  i also just bought the black flip flops from target for a cheap easy pair to wear when i’m running out the door, and have to say i love these too.

and just cause i couldn’t stop my search . . . i love these for color and these for a little everyday shimmer.
