la la loving : littles edition

vacation souvenir jars.  i may possibly still have a few bottles of ocean water, circa 1994, in my basement (ok, i really do), as i had this same idea many moons ago.  however, this seems like a much better way + so much fun for kids.  it’s the labeling that gets me.

a tablecloth made into a playhouse.

iggy peck the architect.  we dont’ have this book yet.  but it is on my list.

bunkbeds like this.  forget the traditional kind.

a calm down party.  i’m all about this.  i’m up for a calm down party all summer long.  in fact, today i was feeling kind of guilty for having this type of thing going on.  swimming, movies, sleeping in, and playing with friends.  and then i rememered that is what being a kid is truly all about it.  it’s not about a schedule full of activities or a schedule at all.  heck, i didn’t even know what a schedule was when i was a kid.  did you?  i only knew that when i got up it was time to swim and play and when my mom called us in we were done for the day.  now that is what i’m talking about!

what are you loving for little ones?
