i have this little problem in my kitchen.  i don’t have a pantry.  yes, there are cabinets and many of them, but i seem to be running out of room when it comes to storing food.  i don’t know, maybe it has something to do with the growing appetites of my 4 growing children (gosh that sounds weird).

my solution was this cabinet, which i plan to turn into a free-standing pantry (although, my littles think it’s better suited or hide and seek).  i’ve been painting it for a few days (guess what color?) and it looks like it still may need  a few more coats (i’m pretty impatient when it comes to painting.  which =’s a bit of a sloppy job).  anyhow, i haven’t really sorted out how to add shelving (ideas are welcome) but i’m sure i’ll think of something.  for now i’m just dreaming of pretty stacking, sorting and storing.
