if your house is anything like mine than snack time is pretty much all the time. i try my best to stick to a morning and afternoon snack for the littles, but if they had their way they would graze all day. and, somehow in our house, the word snack has become synonymous with bowl. i think that might be because in their minds bowl is also synonymous with more.
and speaking of bowls, our favorites are these darling little doggy bowls from uncommon goods. they are just the right size for snack portions and for making snack time extra special. don’t you have certain dishes or patterns you remember from your childhood? i think these will be a memory for mine.
and yes, i have snack time too.
it usually happens late at night and looks a little like this. tea from a special tea cup and always chocolate (ok, and likely a few pretzels with cheddar cheese too). and, come to think of it, those doggy bowls are the perfect size for a scoop of ice cream!
i love making small moments like snack time special, whether it’s for the kids or myself, by using pretty little dishes. uncommon goods has some really great and unique dishware pieces to make snack time or any time special.
AND . . . the lovely folks at uncommon goods are offering a $50 gift certificate to one lucky la la lovely reader. enter below!
also, i’d love to know what your favorite snack is (or the one you eat most often)?

how cute! We eat a lot of snacks at our house too. We have peanut + nut allergies in the family so a snack usually involves pretzels, bagels and a lot of yogurt!

Oh man, I’m always chomping on frozen chocolate chips. But when I’m trying to be healthier, I do fresh strawberries or broccoli dipped in light ranch.

I make bento lunches for the kiddoes, so I always have a big bowl of fruit scraps left over after cutting into cute shapes. I snack on that during the day.
