how was your week? was it lovely? was it less than? or somewhere in between? when it rains it pours and i’ve just been trying to keep my umbrella up. can you relate? i’m finding that the rain can come in the form of good and bad. seemingly, umbrellas can be a covering from the hardships, that come in waves, or a place to rest under from the business of many good things. is this making any sense? possibly, i’m just sounding like a riana song, now. well, either way. it’s been pouring here and i’m seeking shelter.
it’s been a busy week working on projects, running to the apple orchard and attending parent teacher conferences. as always, i’m dreaming of a quiet and relaxing weekend! i never tire of those. and by the looks of it there will be lots of playing with trucks and rainbow loom bracelet making.
p.s. what are you all reading these days? i’d love to know. i’ll be doing a post soon on what books have been covering my nightstands.

I’m about 3/4 though it and it’s pretty good! She’s an honest and witty writer. I’ve read her other books so when I saw this one for cheap on amazon I jumped. My favorite chapter was the one where they rent the Malibu beach house next door to Kelly Wearstler but her dreams of becoming bff’s are foiled… If you enjoyed her show and you enjoy the weekly’s this is a great guilty pleasure book.
