hallways.   i love a good hallway, especially lived in ones.  they lead to anywhere and everywhere.

just a thought that i was thinking yesterday.  hate sounds like such a strong word to own.  Yes?  Perhaps you don’t hate others, but maybe find yourself hating on their work or even battling thoughts of hating on yourself.  Hate gets you no where.  Creating can open doors to anywhere.  Create your own work to be proud of.  And, best of all, create the life you’ve always dreamed of.

pressed flowers.  Do you ever press flowers in a book?  I’ve never really done it with intention, but there have been times that I have picked up a flower or some type of foliage while being outside and used it as a bookmark.  In fact, I have an almost 20 year old flower from Africa, still pressed in an old Bible that I had with me on that trip.  I love opening the page that I marked for a reason and having a tangible piece of beauty from another land and another time.
